Q&A

Q3 : Is orthodontic treatment too late for adults?

Teeth are planted in the bone but not fused with the bone. Each tooth is joined by the periodontal membrane to the surrounding bone. The cells that reside in the periodontal membrane allow the tooth to move through and with the bone. Thus, teeth can be moved throughout one's life, and orthodontic treatment is theoretically possible at any age.
