Ortho Tx: Tooth alignment check

Bite refers to function, and tooth alignment to esthetics. Both are required. Check your tooth alignment.

Do the midlines of the upper and lower front teeth match when viewed from the front? Do the midlines of the upper and lower front teeth match when viewed from the front?
Do the upper (front and back) teeth cover the upper teeth when you look up and view them from below? Do the upper (front and back) teeth cover the lower teeth when you look up and view them from below? Desired coverage is about 2.5mm - 4mm.
Are the upper and lower teeth fitting close together? Are the upper and lower teeth fitting close together?
The frontal upper teeth should form a mild arch that extends to the back in rather a straight line and curves slightly inward at the very end. Are the teeth aligned all the way up to the 12-year-molars (7th teeth from the front)?
The lower teeth should constitute a similar arch as the upper teeth described earlier, but slightly narrower overall. Aren't the 12-year-molars (7th teeth from the front) tilted sideways?
